So many changes this month. Jack is now 15 lbs. 3 oz and is currently getting over his first cold and round of antibiotics. He has taken the sickness in stride, as he continues to be the happiest, most laid-back child ever. Please, God, please let this continue through the toddler years!
Cutest little chubster ever!

Little man can roll both ways, and loves to do so. This has made bed time a bit more challenging, as he'd rather roll around than close those peepers (which, by the way, are devastatingly blue). We never had those issues with Ethan because THAT spaz was mummy-wrapped in a swaddle blanket and in a positioner until he was 10 months old...
All dressed up for church
Jack has also expanded his tasting pallet to include rice cereal (not a fan, despite the fact that it's been in his bottles for about 3 months now), carrots (sort of tasty), and applesauce (big, big fan). He finally seems to be getting the hang of swallowing from a spoon after a month of trying. Now that he has made some progress, I'm thinking we will go back to starting with green veggies and working our way up to the sweeter veggies and fruits.
Applesauce!
Clifford is hilarious...

He is VERY ticklish and loves to giggle. I think his laugh is a sign that he will not follow in his brother's footsteps and be insane. Jack smiles and chuckles constantly; Ethan was either really happy and maniacally laughing or crying uncontrollably. Jack is much more even-tempered. He will smile at just about anyone, talk to his toys and his hands (before putting them in his mouth), and sit back and observe while we eat at restaurants. We love this kid! (To be fair, we love Ethan, too. Just in a different, more blood-pressure-rising way :-)
Ethan wanted in on the photo action
And, Jack LOVES his big brother. Ethan loves to try and make him smile, and Jack rewards him quickly. All Ethan has to do is smile or start talking, and Jack is all giggles. He loves to stare at Ethan, and he loves even more when Ethan shares toys with him. Let's hope the friendship continues!
Happy Birthday, little buddy!
