Both boys got a kick out of these headbands!
Before. Nice and clean.
Ethan & Grammy after the first station - red.
Station #2 - Yellow
When Ethan would get tired, I'd tell him to race me.
He loved running right along with us (and frequently in front of us).
How cute is this?
This was after the 3rd station - orange.
Last station - blue! Poor Ethan got hit in the face!
He did it! He did it!
Throwing our packets at the finish line!
Ethan COULD NOT WAIT to do this.
After. Quite colorful.
We came home, got showered, had lunch, and put the boys to bed for a much needed nap. Two seconds later, we heard a LOUD thud. We assumed it was Ethan goofing around in his room (which is typical), but immediately heard Jack start screaming. Into his room we ran, only to find him sitting in the middle of the floor, crying. Genius jumped out of his crib and didn't stick the landing. We decided then and there that our plan of keeping Jack in the crib until kindergarten (for fear of him getting up and terrorizing the house in the middle of the night, because he totally would) was not going to happen. AJ took the front of the crib off this evening (SOB), and I no longer have a child in a crib. Jack was pretty excited at first - he loves pillows, so he jumped right in there. As soon as we said good night and shut the door, he started to sob. I sat with him for a few minutes, but he still cried when I left. So far, he's in bed and is quiet. We'll see where he ends up in the morning…
The (semi) big boy bed
He was so happy to cuddle in there.
Pretending to be a little sleeping angel….
When did my babies get so big?
