Pushing the cart, pushing the cart...
He snatched that from Ethan.
Speaking of divos - on to Ethan. He's been pretty busy this week. He went to school one day and made a rocket ship (at least, that's what he told me the toilet paper roll with a lid was...) I will not mention how he got mad during a time out and yanked the curtain rod off of his wall...
Ethan squirting his brother in retaliation for the ball incident...
We have started him on his 'piano lessons.' So far, we are through unit one, which has consisted of learning right from left hands, which he knew, learning which fingers on his hand correspond to the numbers in the book and on the piano, some coloring, and finally, touching a few notes. He is very interested in the activities, and we hope it continues. Lord knows this little divo does not seem to be athletic. Maybe he'll be a musical genius instead. After all, his father claims to have a voice that comes along once in a generation...
Jack tasting corn for the first time
He loves being pushed around the yard.

We've had some fires in the backyard, both for the brush pile and for s'mores. Ethan has been looking forward to s'mores all weekend long; we finally made them today, and he was not impressed. He chose to eat a plain graham cracker instead. Jack, on the other hand, took many bites of Grandma's s'more...
Ethan, before realizing what the fire would do to marshmallows.
Mmmmm....
AJ starts teaching lessons this week, and we will be celebrating the 4th with my mom; we're not sure if we'll go somewhere or have a little cookout. We are just trying to stay sane during this insane heat wave we are having (and the insane divo-like tendencies of our little princes.)
