We had big plans to take Ethan to the pumpkin patch today - we went last year and couldn't wait for him to be walking and get to choose his own pumpkin. Last year, we went a week earlier and it was 75 degrees and beautiful. This year, it was 45 degrees and rainy, so no dice. Next week looks like more rain, so we may have to miss it this year and just buy him one from the store to carve and play in.
It's been so cold that we had to buy him his winter coat! This year, I will take a hint from my genius sister-in-law and buy his coat for next year's size at the end of the season when they are super cheap!
He carried around this leaf for a half an hour.
We had a very relaxing weekend. We rarely left the house, which is always a welcome change for AJ and I. Ethan, now that's another story. The kids LOVES being outside and it was torture for him being in so much. We bundled him up this afternoon while the sun peeked out - he had a blast!
