Granparent's Day at School

Today, Ethan's pre-school celebrated Grandparent's Day by inviting the kids to bring their favorite people to school. Ethan has been looking forward to this since he found out about it. He is a very lucky little boy to have three grandparents who love to spend time with him and live close enough to make it on days like today.
From what I hear, they took the grandparents through the typical school day. There were a TON of grandparents there, which is really sweet. I'm so glad to have him in child care that gets him to socialize and have these special days.

They made a fall placemat...
Ate some food...Ethan ate 4 servings of mac and cheese today.
We asked him what he ate for lunch today, and he replied:
TOO MUCH CHEESY NOODLES!
Read a story...
This is right before he laid down on the floor
and pulled his shirt up over his belly...
Checked out his handiwork...
His birthday cupcake
The class tree - he has his own apple
Fun facts on his handprint:
favorite color = black. If he were honest, he would have said pink.
That is hands down his favorite color for everything.
favorite food = he was dead on: macaroni & cheese
favorite hobby = playing outside. Right, again.
Sang a froggie song...
And played with toys...
His little buddy...
So, it sounds like everyone had a great day. My mom said that the kids were all very distracted from their routine and wanted to hang with their grandparents, but that it was a cute day. She brought Ethan home, which avoided the meltdown that would have happened if all three of his grandparents left the school while he had to stay there. Thanks to Grammy, Papa, and Grandma for a fun day at school!
