Is it Thanksgiving break yet?

Seriously, we are tired. It is tough having a little one, jobs, extracurriculars, etc. Making time for each other? You can forget it! We are all counting down the days until our 5 day break from school :-) Luckily, Ethan seems to be feeling better so at least we don't have the added stress of a cranky child.

Ethan is changing every day - it's scary! He is quite the little roller now - I think he'd do it 24 hours a day if he could, all the while with his hands in his mouth! He is getting stronger every day, too. He is doing very well sitting up - we can almost trust him. He just gets too excited, or (more likely) tries to stand up or roll, or do both at once, and falls backwards. He is standing a lot, too, and is much sturdier. He is much more independent in the bouncer - he has finally figured out how to work all of the fun stuff on there and he loves it! We also think he may be at the start of teething. He has been quite the drooler for a little while and has been putting things in his mouth, but both have intensified lately. He also has been sucking on his lower lip - it looks quite odd but he's been doing it non-stop since Saturday. Weird baby.

We don't have much planned for the rest of the week and weekend. AJ's parents are coming to visit E on Friday after school. That's about it. We are trying to stay out of the snow! We may venture out to the mall to try and get E's picture taken with Santa. I don't know how he'll do with that, but we have to try :-) Next weekend, we are getting our Christmas pictures taken, as well as some shots for E's 6 month birthday. Can you believe he's almost 6 months already?
